  1. RemoteAccess Installation Kit

  5. This kit is basically a collection of menus and text files to enable a new
  6. sysop to setup a board with minimal fuss. In the past, the creation of menus
  7. has been a large stumbling block for most new sysops, so we have decided to
  8. give out this standard set of menus which are flexible enough to not require
  9. change at all to have a very basic (OPUS style) board.

  11. If you feel modifications are necessary, then read the documentation and
  12. make them yourself using RAMENU. Otherwise, these menus should be sufficient
  13. until you gain enough expertese to either make your own menus or modify the
  14. existing ones.

  16. The following security level standards have been used in the menus:

  18. 0   : locked-out
  19. 10  : new-user, not validated
  20. 20  : validated user
  21. 100 : sysop
  22.  
  23. Installation:

  26. To use the installation kit, simply unpack the menus (*.MNU) into your menu
  27. directory (defined in RACONFIG) and the text files (*.ASC, *.ANS) into your
  28. text-file directory.

  30. The features used in this kit are only available in the RemoteAccess software
  31. 0.03 and later - and definitely not QuickBBS, as it uses functions not available
  32. in these.
